In order to keep up with Lupe’s explosive performance in the premier of his pro model season, we determined his tools could use some fine tuning. Consider this a “software update” for a smoother operating system.
The LP v1.1 features extended tip fill around the nose and tail for a softer flex and a more durable ski that can throw down even harder whether your coming off a brick wall, tanker, or even grinding through end-of-day chop. v1.1 is refreshed with new artwork and is built to withstand Lupe’s relentless endurance to stick landings and thrive in the street.
We’ve kept the taper for stability when charging super-steep lines, plus the beefed out camber and 90mm underfoot waist so you can still channel your inner Lupe.

CARBON FIBER

Our custom woven asymmetrical weight carbon fiber provides lateral strength and unrivaled torsional stiffness.
TRI-AXE FIBERGLASS
The ultimate in torsional strength, our Tri-Axe Fiberglass Composite utilizes fibers woven into a matrix with 3 different orientations vs. 2 orientations found in biaxial fiberglass. When combined with our one of a kind all-wood cores – unrivaled torsional strength is produced without sacrificing liveliness for a chatter-free, rail-like, ride.
PhDâ„¢ SYSTEM
The Purple Heart Dampeningâ„¢ (PhD) System is the critical element of our all-wood cores delivering unrivaled vibration dampening and absorption for the smoothest ride in the industry. We achieve this by varying the composition of the core from nose to tail focusing the dampening where you want it and keeping the flex lively where it counts underfoot.
